Juanita is the Overall Champion at the National Quilt Championships
In June 2014 the National Quilt Championships was held at Sandown Exhibition Centre in Surrey. Juanita entered her thread portrait of her daughters Shared Jeans.

May 2014 was the 750th anniversary of the Battle of Lewes (Sussex) in which the reforming Baron Simon de Montfort defeated King Henry III.
