Juanita’s first solo exhibition in the West Country was held from 27th July -1st August at Bath Central Library. It was a very good week with over 370 visitors. Juanita was delighted to meet so many people who enjoyed her work along with many local embroidery and textile artists, she was also very thankful to those who suggested groups she may want to join now she has moved to the area.
Also, thank you to visitors who purchased work or cards we hope that you enjoy them.
Juanita has been asked to exhibit a number of her textiles with Grovesnor Shows next year so keep an eye out for further news on this, she also plans to show some of her paintings in the future.
Visitors to the exhibit will be aware that one of Juanita’s textiles ‘Shared Jeans’ suffered some water damage, Juanita has come up with several ideas to fix the damage and we will keep you updated once it has been repaired. This piece along with ‘Copper Kettle’ will be at the NEC for the Festival of Quilts next week.
Juanita will have a gallery ‘The Magic of Thread’ at three patchwork / quilting events run by Grosvenor Shows in 2016.
